TO ALL CLUB SECRETARIES WITHIN THE MIDDLESEX C.B.A

Dear Colleague

The Centenary of our Association will occur in 2011. Although four years may seem a long way away, planning for this momentous event has already started and we need your assistance for one part of this celebration.

To mark the occasion it is our intention to publish a booklet in which we will record the historical events and personalities that have contributed to make our County Association what it is today.

To that end it would be most useful if you could write a brief history of your Club. Any information on County connections that your Club, or its members, have had over the years, such as County Honours (President, Secretary etc) or County competition winners will be very useful. Much of this information might be gleaned from your Honours Board. Any photographs of Past County Presidents or prominent bowlers would be especially appreciated.

If your Club is long established and you have published a booklet to mark a special anniversary, we should be most grateful if we could borrow a copy. Furthermore, a drawing or photograph of your Club badge will be very useful to enable us to give a complete record of clubs in the Association. Any documents or photographs loaned will of course be returned at a later date.

A team has been assembled to undertake this project and we are ready now to receive your input. Your co-operation in this matter will be much appreciated and if all goes well the Association will have a document worthy of the occasion.
