MIDDLESEX v SURREY

Having started the season with a win in a home fixture in cold weather and persistent drizzle Middlesex CBA completed their Inter County Friendly season by coming full circle in almost every aspect. Playing away to Surrey CBA at Epsom BC in balmy temperatures and glorious sunshine Middlesex lost by 110-118.

The match was as tight as the score line suggests with victory on three rinks. Top rink for Middlesex CBA was David Southey (Cambridge Park), Edward Halling (President, Woodcock Park), Roy Dodson (JDP, Brondesbury), John Walsh (Immediate Past President, Ealing Conservatives) who won 28-18.

It was also a good day for John Hay (Staines) who received his county badge from Edward Halling.
