END OF SEASON REPORT

Middlesex CBA played 21 friendlies winning 12 and losing 9, they scored 2457 shots to their opponents 2321. Their best run of wins was 6 and their worst run of loses was 2 which they "achieved" four times!

138 people played for the County during the season meaning that in theory each person had to play 3.6 games to fulfill the Counties requirements, more of that later. Of those 138, 10 played their first game and 9 got their badge. 53 different players received a County glass and gift from President Edward Halling for being part of the days top rink.

The Counties Officers demonstrated that their top quality support for the Association is not limited to their off field administrative activities with Edward Halling (President) playing in all 21 friendlies, Eric Prior (Match Secretary) 20, Roy Dodson (JDP) 19 and Tony Paulley (SDP) 17 and they were the four players who played in the most games. Don Dorling (Secretary) and David Todd (Treasurer) will 11 appearances were not far behind.

Of the non Officers Andy Knott of Masonians led the way with 14 games. John Walsh (President 2006) 13, Ron Petch  (Patron & President 1983) 13, Richard Clarke (President 2003) 10 and Ron Gilbert 10 completed the list of players with at least 10 appearances in 2007.

Based on the result of the County, rather than individual rinks, and using a minimum qualifying criteria of 3.6 appearances the counties most successful player were Albert Hughes with 4 wins from 4 games (100%), Eric Pelling 5 from 6 (83%) and David Vine 4 from 5 (80%) were only just behind.

Roy Dobson was the hottest player with 5 top rinks (including the last three matches), Andy Knott and David Todd each had 4 but they all played in a good number of games. As a percentage of games played Peter Leete and Tony Waller were top rink 3 times out of 4 appearances (75%)

If any one wants a break down of their personal stats for the season let me know and I will forward the data.
