DO OR DIE WEEKEND FOR MIDDLESEX

For the first time in many years Middlesex CBA go into their last Middleton Cup Group game with a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.

Two simple things need to happen - first Middlesex need to beat Surrey and then second Sussex, beaten 22-0 by Middlesex in the last game, need to beat current group leaders Kent at Worthing Pavilion!!

Stranger things have happened and it is vital that the Middlesex CBA players go into the Surrey CBA game positively and complete their business first, before worrying about Kent CBA. It would not be worth contemplating how the squad would feel if they lost to Surrey CBA and then found out that Kent CBA had also lost.

Given the recent two victories in the cup Middlesex CBA do not expect to make any elective changes for this game to be played at  the Ladygate BC.

Spectators will be welcome to cheer the side on to what, they hope, will be a place in the quarter finals.

COME ON MIDDLESEX
