MATCH REPORT v ISLE OF WIGHT

Middlesex CBA made the long journey to the Isle of Wight, looking to gain revenge for their heavy home defeat suffered last year.

Our hosts however were not in a benevolent mood, although the margin of defeat was reduced, defeat it still was by 12 shots 104-116.

Top rink for Middlesex CBA was indeed their only winning rink with Bob Parsons (Harrow), Wally Brown (Wealdstone), Phil Lane (Court Park) and Richard Clarke (Brentham) winning 22-14. Ken Wilson's rink did manage to draw.

This result means that Middlesex CBA has lost all 4 of their away trips in May so perhaps it is good that their next scheduled friendly is at home to Essex CBA at the Broomfield BC on Tuesday June 3rd.
