MIDDLESEX PREPARE FOR CANTERBURY TALE
Middlesex CBA begin their 2008 “Middleton Cup” campaign on Saturday with a trip to Canterbury to face Kent CBA.
Despite their positive start to the season in the “Home Counties League” Middlesex CBA have a relatively poor record in recent seasons in the “Middleton Cup” and will enter the game as massive underdogs.
Team Manager Lindsay Warner and County President Tony Paulley are however upbeat:-
" based on last seasons matches, this seasons squad game against Hertfordshire CBA and the two opening rounds of “Home Counties” games a number of changes were made, both in terms of personnel and position to last years “Middleton Cup” squad. We are confident that we have picked a side that will not only travel to Kent and give them a good game but will ultimately bring a victory and the points back to Middlesex"
