MIDDLESEX WINNING RUN PUT TO BED

Middlesex’s short winning run was brought to an abrupt end in their third friendly of the season.

Played at Henlow Bowling Club in Bedfordshire the side were unable to continue their tremendous form from last weeks game at Marlow and were only victorious on one rink.

Despite the rink of Graham Kellett (President / Cambridge Park), Roy Dodson (Imm Past President/Brondesbury), Peter Hicks (Edmonton) and Eric Prior (Match Secretary / Mill Hill) winning 26-12 they were unable to inspire the rest of the side as they slipped to a 98-121 defeat.

With only 3 games played it was Roy and Eric’s second top rink already this season, impressive stuff.

After the match Ron Smith of Mill Hill was presented with his Full County Badge by the President.

Next up, on the 24th, Middlesex face a tough trip up to Leicestershire CBA for the friendly at St Margaret’s BC
