Hello everyone

You may be aware that the staff of Bowls England are trying to raise funds to help the Visually Impaired  host their World Bowls Championships at Beach House Park Worthing in 2013.

One of the ideas is to produce a recipe book which will be sold during our Championships.

We bowlers are fortunate enough to enjoy some wonderful teas/meals at the many clubs we visit each year, so if you could supply me with perhaps 2 favourite recipes which we would hope to include in this book – they could be cakes, desserts, savouries or anything different which you may have enjoyed, we would be grateful.  We would also like to include the name of the person the recipe came from plus the name of the club.  If we get two recipes the same, we will either have to leave one out or put two acknowledgements by this particular recipe.  Please forward me your recipes by the end of June if possible.

Your participation in this venture would be most appreciated by us all and if all goes well, it will eventually appear on our Bowls England Stall.
